We all have the desire and love to create! Let’s enjoy making art and discovering our creative process together. With Gogh Create we believe in a customizable approach and provide you with the resources to help you create something that will bring you joy!
Using acrylic paint on a 12”x12” canvas you will create a painting of your furry friend. With a customizable approach you will be provided with the instruction and resources to help you create a painting of your pet. Participants are encouraged to bring pictures that would assist with the process.

Friends of Jacksonville Animals is partnering with Painting With A Twist for a fun afternoon of painting. Click on the event photo to see the full image of the featured class painting. 50% of the proceeds from the class will directly benefit the medical and enrichment needs of Animal Care and Protective Services.

Painting with a Twist will be at JHS on Sat. 12/1 from 2 to 5 p.m. for a unique experience to benefit JHS. Enjoy a painting class taught by professionals and leave with a portrait of your beloved pet. You’ll also get to meet some of our dogs available for adoption and perhaps a puppy or two!
Proceeds from the event will go directly to JHS to provide compassionate care to animals in our community.
You must send in the picture of your pet when you register. If you are unable to send the picture in time or if you do not have a pet, you can paint a portrait of one of our JHS pets waiting for a home.
This is a family-friendly event and alcohol is not permitted, but mocktails will be available!

Everyone loves their pups and it’s time to celebrate our furry friends at RAM. As your pups enjoy the market, humans can enjoy a cold craft beer during First Saturday Brews @ RAM!

15th Annual Arts in the Park rescheduled to Saturday, June 2nd from 10 am – 5 pm in Johansen Park with live music, over 60 art vendors and food with free face painting for the kids. Enjoy the breezy canopy tree covered Johansen Park.

PYOP is BACK! This is a special PUBLIC Painting with a Purpose Paint Your Own Pet event where part of the proceeds from this class will go back to Pit Sisters to help with their mission. The funds raised from this partnership will go towards helping dogs in their TAILS program & vet expenses.

All sign-ups/pictures are needed by the above date to ensure enough time to pre-sketch before the class.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the personalized nature of the class there will be a NO REFUND or store credit policy for any cancellations AFTER April 20th when the pre-sketching has begun. A refund or a store credit option will be available to anyone who signed up BEFORE April 20th.
