The Stuffed Animal Project

We’re super excited to partner with the St. Johns County Public Library for another Stuffed Animal Project Saturday! The Stuffed Animal Project focuses on teaching the children in our community how much fun it is to “adopt” lost toys. Our goal is to share that homeless dogs, like lost toys, are just as deserving of homes as a brand new toy or a dog purchased from a breeder. If your family isn’t quite ready to welcome a new four legged family member, please check out our adoptable stuffed Swampies at the Southeast branch of the St. Johns County Library on August 11th at 10AM!

Registration is required for this free program. Please call 904-827-6900 or register online

JHS Camp Registration Protocol:
Allergies: Camp is not recommended for children with allergies to pet dander or nuts. Camp is held on a campus that houses more than 200 dogs and cats. Dogs are given peanut butter daily and many treats contain nut allergens. For these reasons and the safety, health and well-being of your child, we do not recommend that children with these allergies attend camps at JHS.

Ages: JHS recommends that parents use “rising” grades (example, a child who finished 2nd grade should register for grades 3-5 camp) however – you know your children best and we encourage you to follow parental instinct. We reserve the right to make a professional judgment and move a camper to a more appropriate age group after consulting with you.

Stuffed Animal Project

Kids of all ages will learn about the benefits of pet adoption through adopting a stuffed friend with local animal rescue group Swamp Haven Rescue! Registration is required for this free program. Please call 904-827-6900 or register online.
