Carribean Spay Neuter Project facilitates spay/neuter projects throughout the Caribbean in an effort to reduce the huge pet overpopulation. “Through our efforts, hundreds of new litters are prevented from being born into a life of utter misery.”
In February, Dr. Kane and Stephanie of Oceanview Veterinary Hospital right here in Jax will be traveling to South America to participate in this project. Everything is completely out of pocket and proceeds from your ticket will help with travel costs, equipment, etc.
Your ticket includes your yoga class and one local brew from Green Room with all proceeds giving back to this project. We can’t wait for a great night!

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming and Catherine Halleck Photography are hosting a pet photo fundraiser for FOCCA on December 2nd from 11-4pm. FOCCA is a nonprofit organization that raises money to help cover the medical needs of the animals in Clay County. Without FOCCA, many medical needs would not be possible for our Clay County Animals. Friends of Jacksonville Animals is partnering with Painting With A Twist for a fun afternoon of painting. Painting with a Twist will be at JHS on Sat. 12/1 from 2 to 5 p.m. for a unique experience to benefit JHS. Enjoy a painting class taught by professionals and leave with a portrait of your beloved pet. You’ll also get to meet some of our dogs available for adoption and perhaps a puppy or two!
Proceeds from the event will go directly to JHS to provide compassionate care to animals in our community.
You must send in the picture of your pet when you register. If you are unable to send the picture in time or if you do not have a pet, you can paint a portrait of one of our JHS pets waiting for a home.
This is a family-friendly event and alcohol is not permitted, but mocktails will be available!

Join us for some hilarious games of bingo to benefit our rescue dogs! You can call ahead to reserve a table and bring cash for bingo cards! We will also have new Pit Sisters merchandise for sale.
The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a fun event for dogs and their owners to visit Jacksonville’s first indoor/outdoor dog park and craft beer/coffee bar, plus check out local vendors and services, all while raising funds and awareness for ACS.
